EMBDX

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how EMBDX (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit embdx.com or use K-Matrix Studio.

1. Data Controller

EMBDX — contact@embdx.com

2. Data We Collect

  • Email address — when you request a free license key or submit the contact form.
  • Hashed IP address — a one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP, used for rate limiting and download tracking. The original IP address is never stored and cannot be recovered.
  • User agent & country code — browser/OS information and country code, used for aggregated download statistics.
  • Contact form content — name, company, message.

K-Matrix Studio processes files locally on your device. No file content is ever transmitted to EMBDX or any third party.

3. Analytics

We use Umami Analytics, a self-hosted, open-source analytics tool. Umami collects only anonymised, aggregated data (page views, referrers, device types). It uses no cookies, no persistent identifiers, and no cross-site tracking. No personal data is collected by our analytics.

4. Third-Party Processors

  • Resend (email delivery) — your email address is transmitted to Resend solely to deliver your license key or reply to your contact request.
  • Keygen (license management) — your email address and license key are stored by Keygen to manage license validation.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection) — browser signals may be processed by Cloudflare to verify you are human. No persistent cookies are set.

5. Cookies

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. One strictly functional cookie, payload-token, is set exclusively for admin authentication and is never set for regular visitors.

6. Data Retention

  • License keys and associated emails: retained for the duration of the license validity.
  • Download events (hashed IP, user agent, country): retained for 12 months.
  • Contact requests: retained for 24 months.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at:
